What Finsyght Is
Finsyght is a read-only advertising analytics platform. It connects to your Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics 4, and Instagram Business accounts using official OAuth APIs to retrieve campaign performance data (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, ROAS) and display it in a unified dashboard with AI-powered insights. Finsyght does not and cannot modify your campaigns, change budgets, pause ads, or take any actions in your advertising accounts.
1. Permitted Uses
You may use Finsyght to:
- View and analyze your own advertising campaign performance data across connected platforms
- Generate reports and dashboards for your own business or your clients' businesses (if you are an authorized agency)
- Receive AI-generated insights and recommendations based on your campaign data
- Export performance reports (PDF, CSV) for internal or client use
- Set up performance alerts and automated summaries for your own accounts
- Connect accounts for which you have legitimate administrative authorization
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Finsyght to:
- Access unauthorized accounts — You may only connect advertising accounts for which you have legitimate administrative access. Connecting accounts without the account owner's authorization is prohibited.
- Circumvent platform limits — You may not use Finsyght to scrape data at a rate that violates Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API, or other platform rate limits or terms of service.
- Reverse engineer the platform — Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any part of the Finsyght service is prohibited.
- Resell or redistribute API data — Campaign performance data retrieved via Finsyght may not be resold, licensed, or distributed to third parties outside your organization. Data from Google APIs may not be used for any purpose not disclosed to and consented to by the user.
- Competitive intelligence at scale — Using Finsyght to systematically collect and aggregate advertising data from multiple unrelated clients for competitive benchmarking purposes without each client's explicit consent is prohibited.
- Violate advertising platform terms — All use of Finsyght must comply with the Google APIs Terms of Service, Google Ads API Terms, Meta Platform Terms, and all other applicable platform policies.
- Automate prohibited actions — Using the Finsyght platform to automate or facilitate actions prohibited by Google Ads, Meta, or other platform policies is prohibited.
- Fraudulent or illegal activity — Using Finsyght to facilitate ad fraud, click fraud, invalid traffic analysis with the intent to exploit it, or any other illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
- Harassment or harmful conduct — Using Finsyght to facilitate harassment, discrimination, or harm to individuals is prohibited.
3. Google Ads API Specific Restrictions
Finsyght accesses Google Ads data through the Google Ads API under Standard Access. Use of any Google Ads data retrieved through Finsyght is subject to the Google Ads API Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Specifically, you agree that Google Ads data accessed through Finsyght:
- Will only be used to provide and improve features within the Finsyght platform that are visible to you
- Will not be used to serve advertising to you or others
- Will not be transferred to or shared with third parties except as necessary to operate the Finsyght service
- Will not be used for any purpose you have not consented to
- Will not be sold or used for any commercial purpose beyond your authorized use of Finsyght
4. Agency and Multi-Client Use
If you are a marketing agency using Finsyght to manage reporting for multiple clients, you represent and warrant that:
- You have explicit authorization from each client to connect their advertising accounts to Finsyght
- Each client has been informed about how their data will be processed (including this Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy)
- You will not use one client's data to benefit or inform decisions for another client without that client's consent
- You will promptly disconnect any client accounts upon termination of your agency relationship
5. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Finsyght account and for ensuring that all users you authorize comply with this Acceptable Use Policy and Finsyght's Terms of Service. You agree to promptly notify Finsyght at hello@finsyght.app if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
6. Enforcement
Finsyght reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any account that violates this Acceptable Use Policy. We may also report violations to the relevant advertising platforms (Google, Meta) as required by their terms of service. For material violations, account suspension may occur without prior notice.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this policy or have concerns about how Finsyght or another user is accessing advertising platform data, please contact us at hello@finsyght.app.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice in the platform at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Finsyght after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
